The quality of AI-written content depends on the quality of the prompt. Vague prompts get generic posts; specific prompts get content you can actually publish. Use these as starting points in Content Studio and swap in the details for your brand.
The prompts
- 1"Give me 10 post ideas for [audience] who struggle with [problem]. Mix educational, behind-the-scenes and promotional ideas."
- 2"Write an Instagram caption announcing [product]. Friendly tone, under 150 words, and end with a question to encourage comments."
- 3"Rewrite this post for LinkedIn so it sounds professional but personal: [post]."
- 4"Turn this customer question into a five-slide carousel outline: [question]."
- 5"Write three hook options for a 30-second video about [topic]. Keep each under 12 words."
- 6"Suggest 10 relevant hashtags for a post about [topic] aimed at [audience]. Mix broad and niche tags."
- 7"Summarise this article as a short Threads post with one clear takeaway: [text]."
- 8"Write a friendly reply to this comment that answers the question and invites them to message us: [comment]."
- 9"Create a week of posts promoting [event]: a teaser, a reminder, a behind-the-scenes post and a last-chance post."
- 10"Describe an eye-catching image for this post, including colours, setting and mood: [post]."
Make every prompt better
- Name your audience — "busy parents" gets better results than "people".
- Set the tone — friendly, professional, playful or bold.
- Give context — what you sell, what makes you different and what you want people to do next.
- Ask for options — three variations give you something to choose from.
- Always edit before publishing — AI drafts, you decide.
Save the prompts that work best for your brand so your whole team can reuse them.
